FYI:
On week nights, the early game will start at 5:45 P.M., and the late game will be scheduled to start at 7:30 P.M. Any team not able to field a team (at least 7 players) within 10 minutes of the Umpire-in-Chief announcing “Play ball” will forfeit the game.
All regular season games are scheduled to last 6 innings, but a new inning will not start after 1 hour and 45 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes for the early game). No inning will commence after 10 P.M. Consistent with Ripken rules, 4 innings (3 and 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead) must be completed for an official game. The time will be recorded and kept by the Official Scorekeeper, and he or she will decide when a game should be called because of the time-limit rule.
